Strengthening Early Intervention and Inclusive Pathways in Jamnagar, Gujarat

In line with our unwavering commitment to early identification and inclusive development, our dedicated team member, Ms. Rita Christian (DPC), visited the DEIC Clinic in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
The visit reinforced our mission to ensure that children with developmental and physical challenges receive timely support, structured intervention, and meaningful opportunities to integrate into mainstream education and society.
During the visit, productive interactions were held with healthcare professionals and parents to understand ongoing therapies, rehabilitation progress, and referral mechanisms. Strengthening follow-up care remains essential in ensuring that early diagnosis translates into long-term developmental gains.
The discussions emphasized:
By aligning efforts with DEIC teams, we aim to build a more responsive and coordinated support system for children with special needs.
Inclusion is not limited to medical support—it extends to education, social participation, and community acceptance. Our focus goes beyond treatment to ensuring that special children are empowered to enter mainstream schools and public spaces with confidence and dignity.
Early intervention plays a transformative role by:
When children receive support at the right time, they are better positioned to access equal educational opportunities and lead fulfilling lives.
At Children in India, we firmly believe that inclusion is not a privilege—it is every child’s right. Through collaboration with DEIC clinics and dedicated field engagement, we are working toward an enabling ecosystem where children with special needs can thrive in regular schools and community environments.
Together, through early action, awareness, and sustained support, we move closer to a future where no child is left behind—where inclusion, access, and opportunity are realities for all. 🌟
