Why Donate to Children In India?

Every year in India, 6% of children are born with some form of birth defect which translates to around 15 lakh children. Additionally, 10% of children (25 lakh children) are affected by development delays. By donating to Children in India, you help us formulate timely interventions in healthcare through free customized assisted devices & community-based holistic rehabilitation of the affected children through mainstream education. We also provide counseling support to parents and “hand-hold” them through their entire childhood. Our mission is to foster the maximization of the child’s potential irrespective of their socioeconomic and physical background. Join us in our cause to empower a child’s life!

What do we do?

‘Children in India’ Trust is an indigenous Transformational Organisation. We like to be called “CHILDREN” as they embody our work. Established in 2018, our key focus is to generate pathways for access to mainstream education including Anganwadis for children with birth defects and development delays. Our national team involves social development specialists, healthcare professionals, counselors, and family members of children afflicted with these preconditions. The organisation has advanced interdependent partnerships with state and UT governments across India through their following departments connected with issues of children and mothers. Our roadmap for Children In India is outlined as:
