Strengthening Early Intervention and Collaboration at DEIC Dharpur, Gujarat

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in an environment that supports their unique needs. Taking a step forward in this direction, our District Programme Coordinator (DPC) from Dharpur, Gujarat, recently visited the District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC) to strengthen coordination and support for children with developmental needs.
The visit focused on fostering meaningful collaboration between stakeholders working at the grassroots level. Discussions highlighted the critical importance of early identification and timely intervention, ensuring that children with special needs receive the care, therapy, and guidance essential for their development.
A key emphasis during the interaction was on integrating children with special needs into mainstream education. Inclusive education not only enhances learning opportunities but also promotes confidence, social interaction, and a sense of belonging among children. When given the right support, every child has the ability to participate, learn, and grow alongside their peers.
The visit also reinforced the importance of collaborative efforts between healthcare providers, educators, and community stakeholders. By working together, these groups can build a strong support system that nurtures each child’s potential and ensures equal access to opportunities.
At Children in India, we remain committed to creating inclusive environments where no child is left behind. Initiatives like these bring us closer to a future where every child’s right to education, growth, and dignity is upheld.
Together, we continue to move forward—building a world where every child is empowered to reach their full potential. 🌍✨
