Strengthening Early Intervention and Inclusion at DEIC, Rajkot, Gujarat

Ensuring that every child has access to education and the support they need to succeed is at the heart of building an inclusive society. In line with this commitment, our District Programme Coordinator (DPC) from Rajkot, Gujarat, recently visited the District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC) to interact with children, parents, and healthcare professionals dedicated to supporting children with developmental needs.
The visit created an opportunity for meaningful engagement with families and professionals who are actively involved in the early identification and intervention process. Early intervention centres play a crucial role in recognising developmental challenges at the right time and providing the necessary therapy, care, and guidance that help children reach their full potential.
During the visit, discussions focused on strengthening the support systems that enable children with different disabilities to receive timely services and assistance. By ensuring early access to care and therapy, such initiatives significantly contribute to helping children grow, learn, and eventually become part of mainstream education and society.
These interactions also highlighted the importance of collaboration between healthcare professionals, educators, and families. When communities work together, they create a supportive environment that nurtures every child’s abilities and encourages their participation in everyday learning and social experiences.
At Children in India, we firmly believe that every child deserves equal opportunities to learn, thrive, and build a bright future. Visits like these reinforce our dedication to creating inclusive systems where children of all abilities can access the resources they need to succeed.
Together, we continue working toward a world where every child’s potential is recognised, supported, and nurtured—ensuring that no child is left behind. 🌍✨
