Working Together to Ensure Every Child Receives the Care, Support, and Opportunities They Deserve
At Children in India, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of developmental challenges. In line with this commitment, our Disability Programme Coordinator (DPC) from Kutch, Gujarat, recently visited the District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC) to engage with the dedicated professionals working tirelessly to support children with developmental delays and other disabilities.
The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between Children in India and the DEIC, enhance understanding of referral pathways, and reinforce the importance of early identification and timely intervention. Such partnerships play a vital role in ensuring that children receive comprehensive assessments, appropriate therapies, and the support services they need during the crucial early years of development.
Early intervention has the power to transform lives. With timely medical care, therapy, educational support, and active family involvement, children with developmental delays can overcome challenges, build confidence, and develop the skills necessary to participate fully in school and community life. These early efforts significantly improve their chances of successfully transitioning into mainstream education, where they can learn, grow, and thrive alongside their peers.
