At Children in India, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, belong, and participate fully in society. Through our Building Bridges from Communities to Classrooms initiative, we work closely with families and communities to identify children with developmental delays and disabilities, connect them with essential support services, and create pathways toward inclusive education.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Ranjana Dickenson, Disability Program Coordinator, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, for her dedication and compassionate efforts toward transforming the life of a young child with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and a locomotor disability.
Through her support and guidance, the child received assistance with UDID registration, access to basic assistive equipment, and support for enrolment in mainstream education. These interventions represent more than administrative or educational milestones—they are important steps toward greater independence, confidence, dignity, and participation in everyday life.
For children with disabilities, accessing the right services at the right time can make a profound difference. From identification and documentation to assistive support and education, each step helps remove barriers and creates new possibilities for children and their families.
