At Children in India, we are committed to supporting children with developmental delays and their families by connecting them with timely care, appropriate resources, and inclusive educational opportunities.
As part of this ongoing mission, we are grateful to the parents of a child from Roorkee, Uttarakhand, for placing their trust in the support system and seeking care and guidance for their child.
Our dedicated team member, Ms. Anjali Burnwal, SDPO, Dehradun, recently visited the District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC), Roorkee, where she interacted with a child with Cerebral Palsy (CP) who had visited the centre for speech therapy. She also engaged with the child's parents to understand their concerns, discuss their needs, and guide them towards the support services available to them.
For children with developmental delays and disabilities, access to timely intervention and appropriate resources can make a meaningful difference. Support such as UDID registration and assistive equipment can help children overcome barriers, participate more actively in daily life and education, and move closer to inclusion in mainstream classrooms.
