Permission to raise disability awareness in schools by Directorate of Education, GNCT of Delhi and MCD. – 3rd August and 18th August

Children in India has received the permission to raise awareness of CWSN (Children with other needs) among students of all Government schools of Delhi. The goal of the program is to -

1. Sensitize students on the prevalence of birth defects and development delays among children and the importance of bringing them into mainstream education
2. Building capacity of teachers to include children with disabilities in the regular classes
3.  To audit every school to find if they are inclusive and accessible.
