Strengthening Early Intervention and Pathways to Mainstream Learning

Today, a Children in India team member, Ms. Beulah Priyadarsini, District Program Coordinator, visited the District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC) to review and support children with special needs as part of our ongoing commitment to inclusive care and education.
During the visit, two children with Cerebral Palsy were reviewed and provided with appropriate support and guidance. In addition, a child with Down syndrome was successfully enrolled for continued care and follow-up services, ensuring access to consistent monitoring and timely interventions.
A particularly encouraging outcome of the visit was the parental consent for mainstream education for one of the children. This step highlights the importance of informed guidance, family counselling, and sustained support in helping children with special needs integrate into inclusive learning environments with confidence and dignity.
At Children in India, we believe that every child deserves not only timely medical and therapeutic intervention, but also equal opportunities for education, holistic development, and a life of dignity. Early intervention combined with inclusive education creates a strong foundation for children to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the DEIC team, healthcare professionals, and parents for their cooperation, trust, and shared commitment to building a more inclusive future for every child. Together, we move forward toward a world where no child is left behind, and every child is supported to reach their full potential. 🌟✨
