Strengthening Early Identification and Inclusive Support Systems in Uttarakhand

As part of our ongoing commitment at Children in India, our team recently visited the District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC), Almora, Uttarakhand, to strengthen services for children with special needs and developmental delays.
The visit focused on gaining deeper insights into service delivery mechanisms, early identification processes, and timely intervention strategies essential for supporting children with disabilities. Meaningful interactions with the DEIC team highlighted the critical role of coordinated and child-centric approaches in ensuring that every child receives appropriate care at the right stage of development.
Early intervention has the power to transform a child’s future—supporting physical, cognitive, and social development while empowering families with guidance and reassurance. By working closely with DEIC professionals, we continue to strengthen systems that are inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the needs of children and their caregivers.
Together, we remain committed to building inclusive and child-focused health systems, where early care opens doors to dignity, opportunity, and a brighter future for every child. 🤝✨
