Bringing Every Child into the Mainstream Through Early Intervention

February 10, 2026

A Children in India team member from Jamnagar, Gujarat, recently visited the District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC) to strengthen community-level inclusion and early support systems for children with developmental delays and other disabilities. The visit reinforced our commitment to ensuring that no child is left behind due to delayed identification or lack of access to care.

Through on-ground engagement and close coordination with the DEIC staff, the focus remained on early identification, timely intervention, and structured follow-up. These steps are critical in addressing developmental challenges at the right stage and supporting children in their journey toward mainstream education.

Early intervention plays a pivotal role in helping children with special needs build confidence, independence, and essential life skills. By enabling a smooth transition into inclusive learning environments, children are given equal opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive alongside their peers.

At Children in India, we continue to work toward inclusive development by bridging gaps between healthcare systems, early intervention services, and education. Through collaboration, awareness, and sustained field engagement, we strive to ensure that every child—regardless of ability—receives the support, dignity, and opportunities they deserve.

Together, we are building a future where inclusion is a reality, and every child has the chance to reach their full potential. 🌟✨
