Empowering Children Through Mobility at CRC Thakurtola, Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh

World Wheelchair Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and purpose at the Composite Regional Centre (CRC) in Thakurtola, Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. The event brought together rehabilitation professionals, children, families, and community members to recognise the transformative role that wheelchairs play in improving lives.
During the programme, our dedicated team member proudly represented Children in India and actively participated in the celebration. The event served as a powerful reminder of how assistive devices, particularly wheelchairs, create opportunities for children with disabilities by enhancing mobility, independence, and dignity.
Wheelchairs are more than just mobility aids—they are tools that open doors to education, healthcare, and meaningful social participation. By providing access and freedom of movement, they empower children to explore their potential and engage confidently with the world around them.
We are deeply grateful to be part of such a meaningful initiative and to stand alongside organisations and professionals who are committed to promoting inclusion and accessibility. Celebrations like these highlight the importance of collective efforts in building a society where every child has the support and opportunities they deserve.
As we reflect on World Wheelchair Day, let us continue working together to create a future where every child can move forward with confidence, independence, and equal opportunity. 🌍♿
