Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. Recognizing the importance of early support and inclusive opportunities, Children in India has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu under the National Health Mission (NHM) to support children with developmental delays and promote inclusive education.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in strengthening child welfare and development initiatives, with a shared commitment to ensuring that children receive the support and opportunities they need to thrive.
Early identification and timely intervention can play a crucial role in supporting children with developmental delays. Through this collaboration, Children in India aims to work alongside the state administration to strengthen grassroots efforts and help children and their families access appropriate support.
By promoting awareness, encouraging early identification, and advancing inclusive educational opportunities, this initiative seeks to create an environment where every child is recognized, supported, and given the chance to participate meaningfully in society.
This important milestone was formalized under the leadership of Dr. Santhosh George, Founder of Children in India, alongside the organization's dedicated Tamil Nadu state team.
The partnership reflects the value of collaboration between civil society organizations and government institutions in addressing developmental needs and improving opportunities for children and families.
Working together with the state administration, Children in India is committed to strengthening community-level impact and supporting initiatives that place children's development, inclusion, and well-being at the forefront.
Every child deserves to be seen for their abilities, supported in their development, and welcomed into an inclusive learning environment. Through this partnership, Children in India and the Government of Tamil Nadu are taking an important step towards advancing these goals.
Together, we can strengthen early support, expand inclusive opportunities, and help build a future where no child is left behind.
