Empowering Children with Hearing Support Through Early Intervention and Parent Training
At the District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC) in Rajouri, a small yet powerful step is creating a big change in the lives of children with hearing challenges.
With the dedicated efforts of Children in India, children with hearing problems received hearing aid kits to support their communication and overall development. The initiative was carried out with full support from our District Program Coordinator, Iqra, whose commitment ensured smooth coordination and effective implementation.
To strengthen the impact, a live demonstration by an audiologist was conducted for parents. This hands-on session empowered families with practical knowledge on the correct use and care of hearing aids, enabling them to confidently support their child’s progress at home.
To ensure sustained improvement, regular follow-ups every two weeks have been planned to monitor each child’s development and address any concerns promptly. This continuous support system reinforces the importance of early intervention and consistent care in achieving long-term outcomes.
