Strengthening Early Intervention and Inclusive Education at DEIC Jamnagar, Gujarat

The Children in India team recently visited the District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC), Jamnagar, Gujarat, where we had the opportunity to meet incredible children and dedicated families striving toward brighter and more inclusive futures. The visit was filled with meaningful interactions that reinforced our shared commitment to child development and inclusion.
From early screening to therapy support and guidance, each interaction played a vital role in identifying developmental needs and ensuring timely care. Early intervention not only supports a child’s physical and cognitive development but also lays the foundation for confidence, independence, and lifelong learning.
Our mission remains clear—to bring differently-abled children into mainstream education, where they can learn, grow, and thrive alongside their peers. Working closely with DEIC staff, caregivers, and community champions, we continue to create supportive pathways that focus on abilities, strengths, and potential rather than limitations.
Together, we are building an inclusive ecosystem where every child is given equal opportunities to succeed, and where ability truly shines above all else. 💫
