At Children in India, we are grateful to the parents, families, and dedicated staff members whose everyday commitment makes meaningful change possible for children with developmental delays and disabilities.
One such effort was led by Ms. Priya Dey, District Programme Coordinator (DPC), West Bengal, who worked tirelessly to help a young boy and his family access essential support. Through her efforts, the child received assistance in securing a Disability Certificate, Manabik Bhata, and Niramaya Health Insurance—important steps toward accessing social protection, healthcare support, and greater opportunities for the child and family.
But behind every successful outcome is a partnership built on trust.
None of this would be possible without parents who have the courage to seek support, place their trust in the process, and advocate for their children. It is equally made possible by staff members who continue to show up, work through challenges, and stand alongside families at every step of their journey.
This is what meaningful partnership looks like: showing up, following through, and believing that every child deserves dignity, opportunity, and the chance to live with greater independence.

बदलाव हमेशा किसी बड़े कदम से शुरू नहीं होता। कई बार बदलाव की शुरुआत सिर्फ़ किसी के साथ खड़े होने, उसकी बात सुनने, लगातार प्रयास करने और हर कदम पर उसका साथ निभाने से होती है।
Children in India में हम उन सभी माता-पिता, परिवारों और समर्पित टीम सदस्यों के प्रति हृदय से आभार व्यक्त करते हैं, जिनकी निरंतर मेहनत और विश्वास बच्चों के जीवन में सकारात्मक बदलाव लाने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं।
ऐसा ही एक सराहनीय प्रयास सुश्री प्रिया डे, जिला कार्यक्रम समन्वयक (DPC), पश्चिम बंगाल, द्वारा किया गया। उन्होंने एक बच्चे और उसके परिवार को आवश्यक सहायता उपलब्ध कराने के लिए निरंतर प्रयास किए। उनके प्रयासों से बच्चे के लिए दिव्यांगता प्रमाण पत्र, मानविक भत्ता और निरामया स्वास्थ्य बीमा प्राप्त करने की प्रक्रिया में सहायता मिली।
ये केवल दस्तावेज़ या योजनाएँ नहीं हैं—ये बच्चे और उसके परिवार के लिए आवश्यक सहायता, सामाजिक सुरक्षा और बेहतर अवसरों की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम हैं।
लेकिन हर सफलता के पीछे विश्वास और साझेदारी की एक कहानी होती है।
यह संभव नहीं होता अगर माता-पिता अपने बच्चे के लिए सहायता लेने का साहस न दिखाते, हम पर विश्वास न करते और हर कदम पर सहयोग न करते। इसी तरह, हमारी समर्पित टीम के सदस्य भी हर बच्चे के लिए लगातार प्रयास करते हैं, चुनौतियों का सामना करते हैं और परिवारों के साथ उनकी यात्रा में कदम से कदम मिलाकर चलते हैं।
यही सच्ची साझेदारी है—साथ खड़े होना, किए गए प्रयासों को पूरा करना और यह विश्वास रखना कि हर बच्चे को गरिमा, अवसर और आत्मनिर्भरता के साथ जीवन जीने का अधिकार है।
