Strengthening Early Care, Family Support, and Inclusive Education
The Children in India team recently completed a visit to the District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC), Jamnagar, Gujarat, where we had the privilege of meeting brave young children and dedicated families committed to ensuring the best possible start for their children.
Throughout the visit, the focus remained on early screening, counselling, and guidance, recognising the critical role these steps play in identifying developmental needs and providing timely support. Each interaction brought children closer to a healthier and happier future, supported by care, understanding, and structured intervention.
We are proud to stand alongside parents, healthcare professionals, and community workers, all working together to support differently-abled children. By strengthening early intervention systems and encouraging inclusion, we aim to help children access mainstream education and grow with confidence, dignity, and equal opportunities.
