Learning Through Play: Creating Joyful Beginnings at the Rajkot District Early Intervention Centre

January 7, 2026

At the District Early Intervention Centre (DIC) in Rajkot, learning is transforming into a joyful, colourful, and child-centred journey. By embracing the play-way method of education, the centre is redefining early learning for children with developmental needs—where play becomes the pathway to progress.

Through interactive, play-based activities, differently abled children are learning to identify colours and shapes in a fun and engaging environment. From sorting vibrant blocks to matching playful patterns, each session seamlessly blends enjoyment with foundational cognitive learning.

These inclusive activities do more than spark excitement. They actively support cognitive development, sensory integration, attention, and motor coordination, enabling children to explore, experiment, and learn at their own pace. Most importantly, the play-way approach builds confidence and curiosity, helping children take meaningful steps toward independence.

This engaging session was conducted under the guidance of Roselin Jadav, District Program Coordinator, whose dedicated efforts continue to make early intervention impactful, inclusive, and meaningful for every child.

By nurturing learning through play, the Rajkot DIC is laying strong foundations for a brighter, more inclusive future—where every child is encouraged to learn, grow, and thrive with joy 🌈✨
