Nurturing Inclusive Minds: Building Awareness at BEE ENN College of Nursing

January 6, 2026

At the Children in India Clinic, Jammu, we strongly believe that awareness is the first step toward inclusion—especially within the healthcare community.

In line with this vision, our State Program Coordinator led an insightful session on Inclusive Education and the critical role of the District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC) at BEE ENN College of Nursing. The session highlighted the importance of early identification, timely intervention, and inclusive practices in ensuring holistic child development.

The nursing students participated with great enthusiasm, engaging in thoughtful discussions and reflecting deeply on the principles of inclusion. Their learning was beautifully expressed through a heartfelt portrait, created to convey a powerful message:

👉 Celebrate Abilities, Accept Disabilities

This creative expression not only demonstrated their understanding but also their compassion and commitment to inclusive healthcare practices. Such moments reinforce the idea that future healthcare professionals play a vital role in shaping a more empathetic, inclusive, and responsive health system.

Initiatives like these remind us of the transformative power of education, awareness, and empathy in building a truly compassionate healthcare ecosystem—one where every individual is valued and supported 🤝
