Orientation Program Successfully Conducted – Children in India

February 2, 2026

On 14th November 2025, Children in India successfully conducted an engaging and insightful orientation program for the Udayan Shalini Fellowship (USF) interns. The session was led by the National Team along with the Director, Dr. Santhosh George, and marked an important beginning for the fellows as they step into meaningful work for child development and well-being.

The orientation introduced the interns to key focus areas such as early intervention, child health, and family-centred support. Through thoughtful discussions and shared insights, the session helped fellows understand the organisation’s mission, values, and the critical role they can play in supporting children and families across the country.

This program marks the start of a transformative journey where young leaders are encouraged to learn, serve, and contribute toward improving the lives of children. By equipping interns with knowledge, purpose, and direction, Children in India continues to build a strong foundation for impactful action on the ground.

Together, with the energy and commitment of these young changemakers, we move closer to creating a healthier, happier future for every child in India. 🌱✨
