Honouring dedication and community service for flood-affected families at Makwal, Sohanjana

Service rooted in compassion has the power to restore hope in the most difficult times. At Makwal, Sohanjana, Jammu, a multi-speciality medical camp was organised for flood-affected communities, bringing much-needed care and relief to those impacted by recent hardships.
Our State Program Coordinator, Ms. Vidushi Sharma, was facilitated by Hope Trust, in collaboration with Brahmakumaris and CMO Jammu, in recognition of her dedicated support and commitment to community well-being. Her involvement added strength and coordination to this noble initiative, ensuring that relief reached those who needed it most.
The camp successfully supported 297 flood-affected beneficiaries, offering free medical consultations, along with the distribution of hygiene kits, clothes, and essential rations. Beyond medical assistance, the initiative addressed dignity, care, and reassurance for families facing uncertainty and loss.
Such efforts remind us that meaningful service goes beyond treatment—it is about standing beside communities, listening to their needs, and helping them rebuild with confidence and hope.
Together, through compassion and collaboration, we continue to restore dignity, healing, and hope—one community at a time. 💙
