Strengthening Early Intervention for Every Child

February 15, 2026

Our dedicated team member, DPC Ms. Daliya Sam, recently visited the District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC), Thrissur, reaffirming our commitment to early identification and comprehensive rehabilitation support for children with developmental needs.

During the visit, she met with Ms. Sandhya, Physiotherapist, to discuss ongoing therapy plans and coordinated rehabilitation strategies for children receiving care at the centre. Such collaboration plays a vital role in ensuring that children benefit from structured, timely, and sustained interventions.

Ms. Daliya Sam also interacted with parents who had brought their children to the DEIC, listening carefully to their concerns and reinforcing the importance of early identification, timely therapy, and consistent follow-up care. Empowering families with awareness and guidance is a crucial step toward improving developmental outcomes and building confidence in caregiving.

At Children in India, we believe that strong partnerships with DEICs and rehabilitation professionals are essential to ensuring that no child is left behind due to lack of awareness or access to care. Early intervention has the power to transform lives, and every engagement strengthens our journey toward inclusive, child-friendly communities.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Ms. Sandhya and the DEIC Thrissur team for their continued dedication to supporting children and families.

Together, we continue building pathways to care, inclusion, and opportunity for every child. 🌟✨
