Enhancing Coordination for Timely Care and Mainstream Integration

A Children in India team member recently visited the District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC), Rajkot, Gujarat, with the aim of strengthening coordination for early identification and timely support for children with developmental delays across the district.
The visit focused on ensuring that children receive appropriate screening, referrals, and early interventions at the right stage of development. Early and coordinated care plays a critical role in addressing developmental challenges and supporting children’s physical, cognitive, and social growth.
By strengthening these systems, the initiative supports the integration of children into mainstream education, enabling them to learn alongside their peers in inclusive and supportive environments. Early intervention not only improves developmental outcomes but also builds confidence, independence, and long-term learning potential.
At Children in India, we remain committed to working closely with government systems and local institutions across Gujarat to ensure that every child receives the right support at the right time. Together, through collaboration and sustained effort, we continue building pathways for inclusion, learning, and a brighter future for every child. 🌟✨
